How It Got Started

Everything Changed in 2020

The 2020-2021 school year was a tough one! I went from teaching at the same school for ten years to being unemployed as a result of needing to stay home to take care of my daughters. While being unemployed, I needed to find a way to still be involved in education and parents so I created this blog. I was helping answer questions of friends, parents, and peers about how to navigate the unchartered waters of teaching and learning during COVID. Though teaching as we know it will slowly get back to "normal", what ever that it, it isn't going to happen over night. This blog is intended to give teachers and parents some insight into what is going on in today's classrooms and how to help our children be kind and educated humans.
